There are some injury enforced changes in the team to face New Zealand, with Gerhard Mostert getting his test debut for Flip van der Merwe and Pat Lambie coming in at fullback to cover for Gio Aplon.

Other changes see Ashley Johnson dropped to the bench with Danie Rossouw moving to 8th man, and Jean Deysel coming in at 7. Wynand Olivier is also moved to the bench with Juan de Jongh and Adi Jacobs taking the 12 and 13 jersey’s respectively.

Deon Stegmann has been given another chance in what seems a much more balanced loose trio, while Ruan Pienaar and Morne Steyn have another opportunity to find their balance and form a stronger partnership. Odwa Ndugane comes onto the bench to provide cover at wing and fullback.

Team for Saturday:
15. Patrick Lambie, 14. Bjorn Basson, 13. Adi Jacobs, 12. Juan de Jongh, 11. Lwazi Mvovo, 10. Morne Steyn, 9. Ruan Pienaar, 8. Danie Rossouw, 7. Jean Deysel, 6. Deon Stegmann, 5. Alistair Hargreaves, 4. Gerhardt Mostert, 3. Werner Kruger, 2. John Smit, 1. Dean Greyling

Replacements:
16. Chiliboy Ralepelle, 17. CJ van der Linde, 18. Ryan Kankowski, 19. Ashley Johnson, 20. Charl McCleod, 21. Wynand Olivier, 22. Odwa Ndugane
