Francois Steyn will not take part in Saturday’s Tri Nations encounter against the All Blacks in Port Elizabeth following an injury he sustained against the Wallabies in Durban this past weekend.

Steyn injured his hamstring in the loss to Australia and will not take part in the final game before the World Cup kicks off in less than a month. He will remain with the squad to do his rehabilitation.

In other news, John Smit sat out training this morning as a result of the flu, and it has been confirmed that his elbow injury is not serious. Both Smit and Bakkies Botha are struggling with some flu, but will be ready for the match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
