Your chance to own a unique signed Sharks jersey

Here’s a not-to-be-missed opportunity for any die-hard Sharks supporter looking for a truly unique and extra special piece of memorabilia to take pride of place above their bar (or perhaps to be framed and hung on their lounge wall, if the missus will have it…)

Jet Setters, Durban’s number 1 event coordination team, is a fresh company focused on offering clients fabulous holiday getaways, corporate travel packages and a wide variety of event and function services. The lovely ladies who run the company will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that their clients’ holidays, events, parties and functions are the stuff that dreams are made of, even for the budget conscious (and who isn’t in these times?). On behalf of Jet Setters, we have a unique signed Sharks Currie Cup jersey to sell to the highest bidder. All proceeds from the sale will be used by Jet Setters to fund further expansion of their business in the year ahead.

Signed Sharks JerseyThe jersey itself has been signed by a plethora of Sharks stars, both current and former and includes the signatures of two Springbok captains (John Smit and Johann Muller) as well as at least 10 other internationals. Adding to the rarity value, the likes of Ruan Pienaar, Brad Barritt, Pat Cilliers, Waylon Murray, Rory Kockott and Andries Strauss have also put their paws on this one, making it a must have for anyone keen to relive some of the glory days of the recent past!

So here’s how the auction is going to work. We’re setting a reserve price on the jersey of R2 500, which will include shipping to a destination of your choice within South Africa and is generally a steal for such a rare item. We’re obviously hoping to raise considerably more than this, though and again are encouraging you to bid generously on this must-have item.

So, the starting bid will be R2500. Thereafter, bids will increase by R20 at a time. In order to place your bid, you need to be a registered user on Sharksworld and you need to submit your bid as a comment on this thread. The auction will run until 5pm South African time on Tuesday (10 January 2012) and we will close the thread to further comments at that stage. We will contact the winning bidder by email on Wednesday morning (11 January) and that bidder will need to transfer the money into our (South African) bank account by 5pm on Thursday afternoon (12 January) in order to secure the jersey. Failing that, we will offer the jersey to the next highest bidder and if they also can’t pay (shame on you!), we reserve the right to cancel the auction.

International bidders are also welcome, but need to understand the following additional conditions:
- The price will still be in Rand and we will agree on an exchange rate after the auction closes.
- You will need to pay us via PayPal.
- You will be liable for international shipping charges over and above the sale price.

That’s all folks… may the highest bidder win! Which I’m sure they will, come to think of it :)

Jet Setters
