Australian and Western Force lock Nathan Sharpe has announced that he end his rugby playing career at the end of the 2012 Super Rugby season, after 15 seasons of top flight rugby.

Sharpe is 33 years old and made his test debut in 2002, and has captained the Western Force outfit since their inclusion in the Super Rugby competition, back in 2006.

The big lock has represented the Wallabies in 101 occasions, and is the equal fourth most capped Australian, equal with legendary David Campese.

We wish Sharpe all the best in his last season, hoping to see an injury free run.
