Well, who knew the predicted team won’t be exactly the same as the actual team. Now we actually have a reason to write those predict the team articles.
It seems John Plumtree has been signing in to Sharksworld, because for the first time in a while almost every Sharksworld reader seems to agree that the team selected by him, is the best possible one to take on the Bulls on Friday.

I’m pleased to see Whitehead has been given a chance. Really thought he had great potential the few times I saw him play. Bosman looked good in the first trail game, but he was given more than enough chance to show that he has what it takes last year, he is a solid reserve to have though especially since he covers 10/12.

We have a couple of options that could have been more exciting than Ludik at 14, but I still think he’s yet to play his best for the Sharks and should make use of this opportunity to proof that he can still create some magic. I always thought he was an exciting player when he played for the Lions, and has always been solid for the Sharks, so I’m glad that he gets another shot.

I’m very excited for Bresler and also think he and Sykes make a solid combination.

Very excited to see JP at 13.

And also think Bissie, Marcell and even Sykes, to a lesser extent, will do more than enough in the ball carrying area to get us over the advantage line. Marcell is bigger and more explosive than most might believe him to be.

My only worry, is Mich. This is the only place I might have gone the more conservative route. I don’t think his passing is good enough for 9, but I also think this could be a really exciting move and am really impressed that Plum had the guts to do it.

All in all, this team looks like one put together with thought and planning that has addressed many of the issues that tortured us in recent seasons. I suppose on Friday we’ll see if our coaching/selecting tips to Plumtree was good or not.

I can’t wait till Friday!

This is going to be an exciting game, that’s one thing we can be certain of.
