Blues team to face Rebels

The Blues team to face the Rebels this weekend has been announced, after the team had their bye last weekend, with Keven Mealamu back in the starting team following his calf injury.

Mealamu’s return is not the only good news for the team from Auckland, as their winger Rene Ranger returns from his suspension, and he will join Rudi Wulf and Lachie Munro in the back trio for this weekend. David Raikuna is injured and will see no action this weekend.

Gareth Anscombe returns to the pivot jersey, with Piri Weepu dropping to the bench, with Anscombe getting his chance after his superb performance against the Bulls a few weeks back.
