Super Rugby 2012 – Sharks (12) vs Chiefs (18) F/T

Two local games keep us busy this Saturday evening, kicking off with a Sharks match against the table topping Chiefs, a match that is sure to entertain as the Sharks are finally back in front of their home crowd, and the Chiefs are on the second leg of their South African tour.

The Sharks had a rather successful tour, coming away with 11 points and will want to take the confidence from the win over the Blues into this match, needing to get four points at least to stay in the thick of things. A win before the bye will do the men in black and white the world of good as they fight their way up the log.

The Chiefs have had a great start to the season, considering that they are generally slow starters in this tournament. They sit on top of the New Zealand conference, and with a host of home games still to come, will fancy their chances of a good play-off spot. They already have five points from their win over the Cheetahs last weekend, and will be pushing hard for another full house.
