Good and bad news for Bulls

The Bulls team to take on the Cheetahs this weekend should see a few changes from the team that beat Griquas so comprehensively this past weekend, with a few injury concerns and players becoming available for selection after injury. reports that Arno Botha will miss this weekend’s clash due to a hamstring injury, which will rule him out for about 2 weeks. This opens the door for CJ Stander to come into the starting line-up, after playing from the bench against Griquas.

The good news for Bulls fans is that Johann Sadie becomes available for selection this weekend, after recovering from an ankle injury sustained during Super Rugby. Whether he will find his way into the starting line-up is yet to be seen, following the players already confirmed move to the Cheetahs at the end of the Currie Cup season.

Dewald Potgieter, Jurgen Visser and Werner Kruger sat out of training on Monday morning, but will be back on the field on Tuesday, while Bjorn Basson (5 weeks), Fudge Mabeta (8 weeks) and Bongi Mbonambi (3 weeks) are on the long-term injury list.
