Fancy some boxing? (Updated)

We are two weeks away from full blown Super Rugby action, but nevertheless, we have some good rugby to watch this weekend, as well as some boxing this morning. Let’s have a look at where we can make some money.

Firstly, we have two rugby stars trying their hand at boxing this morning, first Quade Cooper and then later this morning Sonny Bill Williams. I am of the opinion that only one of the two rugby players will walk away victors. Quade Cooper faces Barry Dunnett, who himself has only fought twice, coming away with one win and one loss. I think Cooper has an easy ride here, and 3/10 on that makes it a good bet.

An even better bet is Francois Botha to beat Sonny Bill Williams, the rugby star being the favourite in this match up. If you have spare cash, put it on the White Buffalo, as a seasoned boxer will in all likelihood take down the pretender. Botha has odds of 11/10 while Williams is shorter at 6/10.

In the Northern Hemisphere we have a range of rugby matches, from an intriguing weekend of Six Nations actions, to English Premiership and French Top 14 matches.

Italy pulled a fast one on most punters last weekend, beating the French, and come up against a Scotland team that took a beating at the hands of England. This is a tight match to call, and it would be marvellous for the game if Italy pulled off a second victory in a row.

The second Saturday match sees the French face up to the Welsh. Both teams come off losses, with the Wales team on 8 consecutive losses since winning the Grand Slam this time last year. The French will want to avenge their opening weekend loss and I fear the Welsh look set to extend that losing streak.

To wrap up the Six Nations weekend, England travel to Ireland, both teams coming off wins and the match being dubbed as a winner takes all in terms of the Six Nations and the Grand Slam. Personally I would fancy England to walk away with the spoils, but it is a match that could go either way.

Scotland – 11/20
Italy – 17/10

France – 3/10
Wales – 3/1

Ireland – 1/1
England – 19/20

The first activity on our newly created Sharksworld Marshalls Account, I will be taking a mixed bet:

Quade Cooper
Francois Botha
France
England

The total bet coming in at 6/1.

Along with the International rugby, there is also a wide variety of English Premiership and Frnech Top 14 matches to punt on. Head on over to Marshalls World of Sport (simply click on the banner at the top of the page) and make yourself some money.
