Your chance to own a unique signed Sharks jersey

If you are an avid rugby fan then this Sharks Rugby player’s jersey will need no real introduction! Now you have the opportunity to add it to your own collection. Why? It boasts a variety of Sharks player’s signatures including those of 3 of the past and present captains including Johann Muller, John Smit and Keegan Daniel.

Sharks JerseyGame On Sports is auctioning this jersey off in order to raise funds for Clint Scott to go over to the World Vets Motocross Championships in September 2013. The Farleigh Castle Vets Motocross of Nations is a hugely successful event generating interest from modern GP stars together with the greats of the past. Many nations are represented including Australia, Spain, Belgium, France, England, South Africa, America, New Zealand, Scotland and Ireland.

If you want to find out more about the jersey, or Clint Scott’s upcoming adventure, feel free to contact them directly!

Note that this is a genuine player’s jersey (as denoted by the SuperSport logo) with a number (16) on the back. It is not a replica jersey.

So here’s how the auction is going to work. We’re setting a reserve price on the jersey of R4 500, which will include shipping to a destination of your choice within South Africa and is generally a steal for such a rare item. We’re obviously hoping to raise considerably more than this, though and again are encouraging you to bid generously on this must-have item.

So, the starting bid will be R4500. Thereafter, bids will increase by R20 at a time. In order to place your bid, you need to be a registered user on Sharksworld and you need to submit your bid as a comment on this thread. The auction will run until 5pm South African time on Tuesday (16 July 2013) and we will close the thread to further comments at that stage. We will contact the winning bidder by email on Wednesday morning (17 July) and that bidder will need to transfer the money into our (South African) bank account by 5pm on Thursday afternoon (18 July) in order to secure the jersey. Failing that, we will offer the jersey to the next highest bidder and if they also can’t pay (shame on you!), we reserve the right to cancel the auction.

International bidders are also welcome, but need to understand the following additional conditions:
- The price will still be in Rand and we will agree on an exchange rate after the auction closes.
- You will need to pay us via PayPal.
- You will be liable for international shipping charges over and above the sale price.

That’s all folks… may the highest bidder win! Which I’m sure they will, come to think of it
