One for the ladies – and the kids

The Sharks have opted to celebrate National Women’s Day in superb style this week – by offering all ladies free entry to Kings Park on Friday night for the opening Currie Cup match against Griquas.

What’s more, it’s not only the fairer ones who won’t have to pay – kids get in free as well, meaning a cash-strapped family could go to the game all for the low-low price of R55 (which would cover the dad’s ticket). Mana from heaven, one would think, for the legions of willing Sharks fans who tell me they’re struggling to get to games because of what it would cost to take a family of four to the stadium.

There’s an important thing to note, though – even though there will be no charge for Ladies’ and Scholars’ tickets, you do still need to get them in order to be admitted to the game. Contact the Sharks Ticket Office or Computicket to get hold of yours.

Just to confirm, here are the prices:

Adult (men’s) tickets: R55
Ladies’ tickets: Free
Scholars’ tickets: Free
