Loose trio rotation at last

The Sharks have persisted with pretty much the same loose trio all the way this Currie Cup (with Keegan Daniel’s replacing of Brynard Stander in week 3 the only real change to date).

That’s set to change this week, though. We confirmed yesterday that Daniel will move to number 8 against the Cheetahs to replace the rested Jacques Botes. Marcell Coetzee is likely to get a start on the open side as well, while in a third switch, Tera Mtembu should get a first campaign start on the blind side flank – this info is courtesy of East Coast Radio’s Andre Bloem.

Coach Sean Everitt has meanwhile confirmed that Tim Whitehead will play outside center this week, as Heimar Williams returns in the number 12 jersey.
