Bismarck cleared for Final

Bismarck du Plessis has been cleared of any wrong doing in the semi-final against the Cheetahs, and will be available for selection against Western Province.

Du Plessis was cited after he received a yellow card in the semi-final against the Cheetahs for stamping on Lappies Labuschagne.

The citing commissioner, Andre Oosthuizen has cleared Bismarck of any further disciplinary action, even though a similar incident earlier in the year, by Western Province flank Michael Rhodes, got a one week suspension. Rhodes was red carded in his match though, while Bismarck only received a yellow card.

This will come as a great relief to all Sharks supporters, as the contest just became a whole lot fairer.
