Somebody get this guy “cheiked” out….

Waratahs coach Michael Cheika needs a serious does of anger management therapy.

While there’s been a rather entertaining (albeit petty) war of words playing out in the media between Cheika and Sharks supremo Jake White this week, it’s the behaviour of this individual at matches that warrants closer scrutiny. Cheika, it seems, doesn’t cope well with his team being beaten.

In Canberra a few weeks back he punched a hole through the door of the visiting coaches’ box, resulting in a hefty repair bill for his paymasters at the Waratahs even if no personal action was taken against him. His antics at Kings Park over the weekend, though, took things up a level.

Cheika is alleged to have verbally assaulted a SuperSport cameraman at the ground, while also making threats of physical violence. A complaint has been laid with SANZAR regarding his behaviour… so out of control was he that he had to be restrained on the side of the field as he looked ready to march onto the pitch and have an altercation with the match officials.

Let’s hope somebody steps in and brings this guy back into line – leave rugby to the grown-ups, mate!
