Former Cheetah scrumhalf, Kevin Luiters, is the latest signing for the EP Kings and joined the Currie Cup training squad on Monday already.

The 21 year old, Port Elizabeth born, played Border u13 before joining the Free State Cheetahs, where he represented them at u16 and u18 level.

Luiters also represented the UFS Shimlas in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Varsity Cup competition.

He had a few outings for the Vodacom Cup side before making his Currie Cup debut for the senior side against the Sharks in 2013.

EP Kings CEO, Charl Crous said, “We are really excited to have Kevin here, he is an energetic player who comes from the region, who has a great career ahead of him, and we are keen to see what he will bring to the EP Kings team.”

Luiters will be joining Michael van Vuuren, Isak van der Westhuizen, Hansie Graaff and Tim Whitehead on the list of newly recruited players, since the inclusion of the EP Kings for the next two seasons of the Currie Cup Premier Division in February.

Luiters’ contract runs through to the end of the 2017 rugby season.
