As has become the norm the DHL Stormers have named a squad containing a number of changes to the one that did duty the week before.

Allister Coetsee has made 5 changes to the squad that started so promisingly but was ultimately strangled and forced to tap out against the Bulls at Loftus.

Peter Grant shifts from inside centre to flyhalf in his 100th Super Rugby game in a move that allows Damian de Allende to slot in at 12 due to the Jean de Villiers continued absence. Deon Fourie takes over raking duties from Scarra Ntubeni who has been ruled out for approximately 8 weeks with a foot injury. Kobus van Wyk gets another shot at the 14 jersey due to de Allendes shift to midfield and Michael Rhodes returns from injury to take back the number 4 jersey from Jean Kleyn who takes a seat on the bench.

Veteran flanker Schalk Burger will lead the side in his usual 7 jumper even though there were reports that he too would be sitting this match out with a back complaint, it would be interesting to see if he actually took to the field this weekend or is a late withdrawal.

The Stormers bench options has a green feel to it with 16 – 18 all youngsters with a smattering of Super Rugby game time among them, Jean Kleyn and Siya Kolisi will cover lock and flank with Kurt Colema, Michael van der Spuy and potential debutant Dylon Frylinck the reserve backs.

DHL Stormers: 15. Jaco Taute, 14. Kobus van Wyk, 13. Juan de Jongh, 12. Damian de Allende, 11. Cheslin Kolbe, 10. Peter Grant, 9. Nic Groom, 8. Duane Vermeulen, 7. Schalk Burger (captain), 6. Nizaam Carr, 5. Ruan Botha, 4. Michael Rhodes, 3. Pat Cilliers, 2. Deon Fourie, 1. Brok Harris
Substitutes: 16. Stephan Coetzee, 17. Alistair Vermaak, 18. Martin Dreyer, 19. Jean Kleyn, 20. Siya Kolisi, 21. Dylon Frylinck, 22. Kurt Coleman, 23. Michael van der Spuy
