The Springbok squad to face Argentina in Durban this weekend has been announced, with no fewer than 5 changes from the team that lost to the All Blacks two weeks ago.

Jean de Villiers starts his first test since THAT injury, completing a miracle return to the playing field. He partners Damian de Allende. The centre combination that performed admirably in the first two tests is broken, with Jesse Kriel shifted to the wing to accommodate the return of de Villiers. The rest of the backline remains unchanged as Handre Pollard is cleared to play.

Amongst the forwards, Marcell Coetzee returns after missing the All Blacks encounter, a straight swop for Francois Louw. Vincent Koch gets his first start for the Boks, replacing Jannie du Plessis at tighthead.

On the bench, there are returns for Pieter-Steph du Toit and Siya Kolisi.

Springboks: 15. Willie le Roux, 14. Jesse Kriel, 13. Jean de Villiers (Captain), 12. Damian de Allende, 11. Bryan Habana, 10. Handre Pollard, 9. Ruan Pienaar, 8. Schalk Burger, 7. Marcell Coetzee, 6. Heinrich Brussow, 5. Lood De Jager, 4. Eben Etzebeth, 3. Vincent Koch, 2. Bismarck du Plessis, 1. Tendai Mtawarira.

Replacements: 16. Adriaan Strauss, 17. Trevor Nyakane, 18. Marcel van der Merwe, 19. Pieter-Steph du Toit, 20. Siya Kolisi, 21. Cobus Reinach, 22. Patrick Lambie, 23. Lwazi Mvovo.
