Marius looked a bit like he was just looking for someone to blame when Odwa and that other EP geezer went for the ball, and because Odwa didn’t seriously have a chance at getting the ball in the air – his reasoning – it was a foul and a yellow. That was just poor by the referee. Okay, so we weren’t helped by the referee but were also our own undoing. That poor defense is going to cost 3 tries before half time next week and catch-up rugby and around a 20 point deficit at least.

In my humble opinion, Claassens and Jordaan deserve a starting berth. I can see the logic of bringing Jordaan on when the game is older and looser and exploiting the gaps, but alternatively, putting daylight between yourself and your opposition – if you can do it – is also useful, taking away their initiative and having them react instead of act.

On the bright side, 3 tries scored by backs instead of having to rely on rolling mauls. The Sharks’ defense is the weakness which will cost the season and hope of advancing to the business end of the competition.

I think centers should be esterhuizen Williams Jordaan and sithole. Mjekevu to wing if he gets another shot it’s hypocritical to keep sithole on wing as he has done better than wandile in that position.

Ref was up to shit he let so many illegal plays on the floor slide from the kings. Once I saw a player lying flat on his back the ball was kicked forward into him and lying there he still played the ball. He was off his feet before and during the time he played the ball.
